Focus ERP

Focus in Windows is a total business package providing flexible solutions for sales, purchasing, stock, accounts, manufacturing, production, contact management and quality control. Focus improves the productivity and efficiency of the day-to-day operations by integrating all of the individual activities with customers, potential customers and other business contacts. All document movements are automated giving total control of document flows and can be customised to provide the business with it's own unique 'look and feel'.

Focus in Windows can be used as a modular package to address specific business needs or as an entire office automation suite of software. It incorporates outstanding ease of use with clear and simple to use screen layouts.

We do not sell Focus on user based licensing model. This means as your business expands you do not need to spend any more money in adding additional users to Focus. Sales

The sales module covers the whole sales cycle from quotation to invoice. Management of the sales cycle is made easy by both on screen and report analysis of the status of a sales order. Additionally the sales module includes an estimating system which allows you to build up a quotation based on both materials and labour. This information is transferable to the manufacturing and production modules.

Accurate forecasting and planning can be made using the sales analysis reports; you can analyse sales by customer, region, territory, product groups and many other criteria. Focus includes comparative sales analysis where you can compare sales from one period with another.

Purchases

The purchase module manages all your supplier transactions. It includes on screen and report analysis of the status of a purchase order allowing for simple management of the purchasing cycle. Pricing can be maintained on a per supplier basis if necessary.

Supplier performance profiling allows you to quickly judge which supplier can meet your needs most quickly. It allows you to compare price versus delivery performance for each supplier. Commitment and budgeting options allow you to see how much you have spent on a particular project or have been spent by individual departments.

Stock

The stock module is a full multi location, multi bin stock tracking system. Using the powerful reporting features it is possible to track serial and batch parts from Goods received to Sales delivery.

The procurement profiling system allows you to keep your stock at an optimum level so that the needs of your customers and production line are met. If you are a manufacturer it will also profile the component requirements for your manufactured items.

Contacts

The contacts module allows you to keep a record of all contacts made with a customer. The type of contact is user definable allowing you to define sales, credit control and other contacts

Accounts

Unlike some of our competitors we do not consider EC VAT, Multi currency support and a Cash Book to be additional features that our customers should pay extra for. We consider that these features are part of the core requirement for a modern accounting system.

Focus offers a flexible approach to building a chart accounts allowing you to reflect the structure of your business. As well as supporting cost centres Focus also supports the use of project codes. Project codes allow you to group transaction together for a particular project either for a customer or an internal project such as building refurbishment.

Fixed Assets

The fixed asset modules allow you to effectively manage your assets. It supports all the common methods of depreciation and allows you to alter the method of depreciation mid term.

The module also supports asset extension. This allows you to link maintenance or additions to the original asset.

Manufacturing

The manufacturing module offers a flexible approach to managing your shop floor. Works Orders can be generated from a standard bill of materials and altered on the fly to meet specific requirements.

With integrated shop floor data collection you can monitor the work in progress in real time. Shop floor data collection gives you highly accurate costing analysis.

Production

The Production module incorporates Time & Attendance (T & A) with the production processes being carried out in manufacturing. Focus on Production provides real time information on the employee, Production, Process, WIP as well as more typical information associated time and attendance. If T & A is not being used and a manual system of time recording is in place, employees can be created on the system and updated against the manually recorded information. This module can be used as a stand-alone system linking into existing Payroll packages.
